I came across an article from PetaPixel in regards to a shooter from Japan who felt his new cards were a bit sluggish. The article was dated on November 9, 2012.
The new 60MB/s card that he purchased from Amazon were actually slower than his old 45MB/s card.
Another bit of disturbing information is that 1/3 of all SanDisk labeled cards are supposedly counterfeit. That really sucks considering I prefer these cards out of any on the market but on the flip side I have never had a problem with with them.
You can check out Damien Douxchamps article and I feel he did a really good job at showing the difference between the counterfeit and the real mccoy.
